9/5/24 Freshmen vs. Montgomery

Congratulations to the freshman gold team as they beat Montgomery 30-12. The offense dominated as Andre Anderson was a field general. Rustin Hampton hauled in a score and Kolton Parker found the end zone as well. Defense was solid with great stops and creating turnovers. Let's focus on and go beat Willis next week.

The Freshman Red team took on the Bears from Montgomery last night. The Panthers were led by an outstanding performance from the entire defense, causing 5 turnovers. The offense had a touchdown from Amarian Hughes, who ran a pass thrown by Branson Dangerfield for 90 yards. Cam Daughtry completed numerous passes to Charles Davis as well. The team travels to Willis next week to open district play.

9/13/24 Sub-Varsity vs. Willis

  • It was a hard fought game for the freshman gold team, but they fell short 16-8 against Willis. The defense shutout Willis’ offense in the second half and blocked a punt to bring it within a score late in the fourth. But time was short and they couldn’t quite finish the job. Great job and effort overall and let’s keep the momentum going into our bye week.

  • The Freshman Red team played the Willis Wildcats last night in a hard fought game. Amarian Hughes had a few nice catches, as well as Jonathan Javier. Kaedon Maddux ran the ball for the panthers for some hard earned yards. Defensively the Panthers were led by Isaiah Stewart and Asa Selph.

  • Our Caney Creek Panthers Football JV team put up a great fight falling just short of a victory vs the Willis Wildkats last night with a score of 20-18. The team was led with great performances by Kaleb Marshall, Bakari Worthy, Tristan Caufield, Elian Gaona, and the Offensive Line. Your Panthers have a bye next week and will be back in action in two weeks vs the Woodlands Highlanders!
